What if I can’t see the nest?

That’s common. If insects are entering a soffit, wall, roofline, brick gap, deck void, or other opening, the active entry point can usually be treated even if the nest itself is hidden.

Do you physically remove the nest?

If the nest is visible and safely accessible, removal may be possible. If the nest is hidden inside a wall, soffit, roofline, or void, treatment is usually focused on the active entry point instead.

Do I need to be home during the treatment?

Not always. For many exterior treatments, we may be able to complete the job without you being home, as long as the area is accessible and payment is arranged. We’ll confirm this before the appointment.

What if I’m not sure if they’re wasps, hornets, yellowjackets, bees, or carpenter bees?

That’s okay. Send a clear photo or short video if available. Many customers call all stinging insects “bees,” but the best treatment depends on what they are and where they’re nesting.

What if the activity continues?

If activity continues after the expected treatment period, let us know. We stand behind our work and, when appropriate, will provide a second treatment at no cost. The proper follow-up timing depends on the pest type, nest location, and activity level after the first treatment.
